Boy Kits are Hard to Find

In the land of digital scrapbooking, boy themed kits are hard to find. The perfect ones that is. That's why I was so happy when Aaron, a.k.a. Sir Scrapalot has created a Boy Kit for all of us to enjoy and play with! Take a look at this preview. Now isn't that great? It looks like a simple kit but the colors are radiantly bursting only by using the primary colors as his palette. Lovely indeed! And so here's what I came up with.

Really it's a fun kit with 17 papers and a complete Alpha too! You can click on the preview to grab the kit from the store or you can simply just click here. It's On Sale too!

Can You Calculate Love?

Yesterday, a friend and I were talking about love. We were discussing about love in general and we came up with various definitions of what love is and how it is expressed. To make it short, we were just two teachers bored and feeling fuzzy because of the cold weather.

Anyway, so can you calculate love? It actually depends on a person, all I know is that we all yearn for something that cannot be calculated. Something immeasurable. Something unconditional. An example is the love of a mother to a child. A loyal wife of a convicted murderer, a dedicated husband to his mentally ill wife, even a father who's far away from his family. There are of course other types of love that others describe to be perfectly carved to something that's like a fairytale. Ah, love! I am caught by the upcoming love month so you have to bear my cheesiness.

The digiland is also caught up with the love bug too because most kits are all ready for Valentines Day. Here is an example from Sir Scrapalot of Polkadot Plum.

This kit Arithmetic of Love is lovely to play with because as you choose the elements you use, you will also be able to ponder on how 1 + 1 = 2 or how love is measured. Look at what I did to this kit.
That's a photo of my son with my dad in one of our family reunions during the holidays. TTFN!

Scrapping Mondaze

I am joining this Scrapping Meme called Scrapping Mondaze because I have to have a drive to scrap since I will be sort of forced to create layouts from time to time. I want to create lots of photobooks this year because I always believe that pictures are good investments. So here's my first entry for this meme.

This is a photo of my pupils last year and this was taken after their graduation rites. These kids are brilliant, playful and outgoing, don't ask me about their stage mothers. LOL. I am not that confident with this layout because this is a product of my speed scrapping. But then again, I think this is presentable enough. Happy scrapping!
